When the light starts to wane,
What do you see,
When you see no possibility,
Where do you go.
When all seems unjust and unfair,
Where do you find the fire to go on,
Brush away everything that's happening,
And thrust forward tirelessly.
In god we trust to bring us luck,
Bring us clarity in each step,
Clarity in the path we choose,
Clarity in the reasons we do what we do.
If I am to will through,
Let me do so learning,
If I am to burn away my time,
Let me do so with purpose.
At the end of the day when I look back,
Allow me this promise as I drift away,
Though I don't see it today,
The purpose of my existence isn't that far away.
