The moment

A fraction of time in my life, Moments I live for again and again, Etched in the canvas of my mind, Divine instants of simple Indian nature. I know not what makes them, I know not where to find them, I feel them when I see them, Flowing with the wind like the blood in my veins Proud to have lived and breathed here, They are the silent wonders of my country, An anti climatic creation of man and nature, Moments I die to live for Nothing out of the ordinary, Just the best that nature can offer, Comes with no parade nor notice, Yet there is nothing ordinary about them. What do I search when I know not what to search for, I hold on to this beautiful country of mine, Lying in wait patiently,  for those moments of exuberance, Moments I happily die to live for.

A wonderful night

The autumn leaves are dying away, Like my inspiration that is fading away. Southern winds are blowing strong, An impending rain quick to follow. In the silence that surrounds me, I sit still listening to the kind whispers of the wind. Rain down upon me thou gentle shower, I wait for thee, on this calm and mellow night. A wonderful dinner under the pitch dark sky, The beautiful contrast on this day, I wish to capture with my words, That which I feel tonight She yearns for a song, And in her name I shall write. A song to remember the day, This day, I wish to remember in the times to come.

Selene

Kill the lights in the night, Let the moon light shine bright. Let the fog damp your sight, In the night, let selene shine bright.    Sing for me, goddess of the moon, Come to me, stay with me, Piercing rays humble my soul, Sing to me, in the night dark as coal. Shower me with your poetic grace, Lets write an ode, a poem or phrase. I miss you too much, pain every day, Come live with me, through the night we shall play. For you through eternity I shall wait, Through night and day, at the haeven's gate. So lovely, selene your beauty shines, Clasp in red, as dark as wine. I reach out to touch your face And embrace you in all your grace. But I'm swallowed; swallowed whole. Consumed by the night as dark as coal. Yet you linger and watch me try In vain; once bitten, twice shy. But not for a moment do you leave my sight As you fade away into the morning light.
